ADEOS I (Advanced Earth Observing Satellite 1) adalah satelit observasi bumi diluncurkan oleh NASDA pada tahun 1996. Nama Jepang Misi ini, Midori, berarti "hijau".
Misi berakhir pada bulan Juli 1997 setelah satelit mengalami kerusakan struktural ke array panel surya. Pengganti, ADEOS II, diluncurkan pada tahun 2002. Seperti misi pertama, itu berakhir setelah kurang dari satu tahun. Juga mengikuti malafungsi panel surya.
