Asman Airlines is the state-owned scheduled domestic airline of Kyrgyzstan and is the subsidiary of Manas International Airport OJSC. Headquartered in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, it was founded in 2023
History
Asman is a 100% subsidiary airline of Manas International Airport. In Kyrgyz language, "Asman" means "sky." A falcon was chosen as the company's logo.
Asman Airlines commenced operations on 27 September 2024 and the first flight operated from Bishkek to Osh.
The airline accepted its first Q400 aircraft on 5 September 2024 and has order for three more aircraft of same type. On October 29, the second Q400 aircraft arrived in Kyrgyzstan. The third will arrive in January 2025, and the fourth in May 2025.
Starting from May 2025, all four aircraft Q400 will begin flights to all regions of Kyrgyzstan. The airports in Talas, Naryn, Karakol, Kazarman, and Kerben, which have been non-operational for the past 30 years, will resume service.
