Brian John Peter Ferneyhough (; lahir 16 Januari 1943) adalah seorang komponis Inggris, yang bermukim di California sejak 1987. Ferneyhough biasanya dianggap sebagai figur utama gerakan New Complexity. Ferneyhough mengajar komposisi di Hochschule für Musik Freiburg dan University of California, San Diego. Ia juga mengajar di Universitas Stanford dan menjadi dosen tetap pada kursus-kursus musim panas di Darmstädter Ferienkurse.
