The Cupra Terramar is a compact crossover SUV planned for production in 2024 by Spanish Cupra performance-oriented brand. The car will be around 4.5 metres (15 ft) long, and will allegedly replace the Cupra Ateca.
The Terramar will use an updated version of the MQB platform which underpins Cupra's ICE-powered cars. It will come in mild-hybrid- and plug-in-hybrid versions, with a pure electric range of up to 100 km (62 mi). It will be the last Cupra launched with a combustion engine offering, as the brand looks to going all-electric in 2030.
The model is named for a Spanish coastal town near Barcelona where the Autódromo de Sitges-Terramar racetrack was built in 1923. It will be built alongside the closely related next-generation Audi Q3.
