Sir David Lean (25 Maret 1908 – 16 April 1991) merupakan seorang sutradara berkebangsaan Inggris yang menjadi yang terkenal saat menyutradarai film-film tersebut seperti Lawrence of Arabia, The Bridge on the River Kwai, Doctor Zhivago dan A Passage to India . Dia memenangkan dua nominasi Academy Award sebagai sutradara terbaik. Lean meninggal dunia pada tahun 1991 karena menderita kanker.
