Ḍiyāʼ al" target="_blank">al-Dīn Abu ʻAbdallah Muhammad ibn ʻAbd al" target="_blank">al-Wahid al" target="_blank">al-Saʻdi al" target="_blank">al-Maqdisi al" target="_blank">al-Hanbali (bahasa Arab: Thiyaa al" target="_blank">Al-Diin al" target="_blank">Al-Maqdisi ضياء الدين المقدسي) (569–643 H/1173-1245 M) adalah seorang Ulama di Hanbali.
Riwayat hidup
Diya' al" target="_blank">al-Din lahir di Damaskus pada tahun 1173. Orang tuanya telah beremigrasi dari Nablus di Kerajaan Tentara Salib Yerusalem tidak lama sebelum kelahirannya, bersama dengan 155 penduduk Hanbali lainnya di daerah itu, sebagai tanggapan atas ancaman yang dirasakan terhadap para syekh mereka dari penguasa salib Nablus, Baldwin of Ibelin. al" target="_blank">Al-Dhahabi menggambarkannya sebagai Syekh Ulum hadis. Dia mencatat kematian Maqdisi pada tahun 1245 M, 643 H.
Dia adalah kerabatnya Abd al" target="_blank">al-Ghani al" target="_blank">al-Maqdisi, karena nenek dan ibu-nya Abd al" target="_blank">al-Ghani al" target="_blank">al-Maqdisi adalah saudara perempuannya, sedangkan Ibn Qudamah adalah paman dari ibu.

He was unable to complete it. He intended to include only authentic hadith a goal which, to a large extent, he accomplished.
