Fraysexuality (also less commonly known as ignotasexual) is the phenomenon of people who are sexually attracted to people they don't know, and the more they know a person, the less they are sexually attracted to them, and is a subsector of grey asexuality.
Characteristics
Attraction can disappear if an emotional connection develops. In a way, the emergence of attraction in fraysexuality is conditioned almost exclusively to unknown people, even feeling immediate attraction to them, or people who they are not attached to.
It's often described as the polar opposite of demisexuality.
Etymology
The attribution of the term fray as sexuality is credited to Tumblr user edensmachine, an account that has been deactivated, and has existed since at least 2014. The term fraysexual is probably a neologism from fray, which means fighting, which could represent the lack or breaking of affective bonds in people fighting.
