Howrah railway division is one of the four railway divisions under the Eastern Railway zone and the South Eastern Railway zone of Indian Railways. This railway division was formed on 1854 and its headquarters is located at Howrah in West Bengal, India. It covers the area more than 400 km which includes parts of Bihar and Jharkhand also.
Asansol railway division, Sealdah railway division and Malda railway division are the other railway divisions under ER Zone headquartered at Kolkata.
