Pusaran, pual, atau vorteks adalah aliran cairan yang berputar dan biasanya turbulen. Gerakan spiral apapun dengan arah aliran tertutup disebut aliran pual. Gerakan cairan yang berputar cepat mengitari pusatnya disebut pual. Kecepatan dan tingkat rotasi cairan dalam pual bebas (irotasional) lebih tinggi di pusatnya, dan menurun secara progresif sesuai jarak dari pusatnya, sementara kecepatan pual dorongan (rotasional) adalah nol di pusat dan meningkat secara proporsional sesuai jarak dari pusatnya. Kedua jenis pual tersebut memiliki tekanan minimum di pusat, meski tekanan minimum pada pual bebas lebih rendah.
