Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Bahasa Jepang: ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ2, Sonikku za Hejjihoggu 2) merupakan seri permainan Sonic the Hedgehog yang dirilis oleh Sega pada tahun 1992 untuk Sega Mega Drive. Karakter utama permainan ini adalah Sonic dan temannya Tails. Permainan ini merupakan kelanjutan dari Sonic the Hedgehog yang dirilis tahun 1991.




Permainan



Permainan ini dapat dimainkan oleh 2 orang lebih (Multiplayer). Di permainan ini terdiri dari 8 tingkatan. Cara bermain permainan ini sama hampir sama dengan Sonic the Hedgehog hanya level, "Special Stage", dan latar cerita yang diubah. Pada permainan ini, Sonic ditemani oleh temannya (rekan) Tails yang dapat terbang dengan kedua ekornya dan seperti permainan sebelumnya sang pemain harus mengalahkan Dr. Robotnik (atau juga disebut Doctor Eggman).
