William Seward Burroughs II (; 5 Februari 1914 – 2 Agustus 1997) adalah seorang penulis dan seniman visual asal Amerika, yang secara luas dianggap sebagai figur utama dari Beat Generation dan penulis besar pascamodernisme yang memengaruhi budaya dan sastra populer. Burroughs menulis delapan belas novel, enam kumpulan cerita pendek dan empat kumpulan esai, dan lima buku wawancara dan korespondensinya telah diterbitkan; dia awalnya dikenal sebentar dengan nama pena William Lee.
