    Ground-Based Interceptor (GBI) adalah rudal anti balistik komponen dari sistem Ground-Based Midcourse Defense Amerika Serikat (GMD). Pencegat ini terdiri dari kendaraan pendorong, yang dibangun oleh Orbital Sciences Corporation, dan Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV), yang dibangun oleh Raytheon. Integrasi ini dilakukan oleh Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
    Orbital Boost Vehicle (OBV) tiga tahap menggunakan roket tahap atas berbahan bakar padat dari peluncur Taurus. Versi pencegat yang digunakan di AS memiliki tiga tahap. Versi dua tahap berhasil diuji pada tahun 2010 untuk digunakan dalam pertahanan rudal NATO Eropa sebagai opsi cadangan untuk System Standard Missile 3 Aegis yang lebih disukai.
    Sebanyak 64 pencegat direncanakan: 30 pencegat dikerahkan pada akhir tahun 2010 di Fort Greely, Alaska dan Pangkalan Angkatan Udara Vandenberg di California. dengan empat belas rudal tambahan yang dikerahkan pada tahun 2017, dan 20 GBI lagi direncanakan. Sejak 2006, Badan Pertahanan Rudal melakukan tujuh tes pencegatan dengan rudal yang dikonfigurasi secara operasional, empat di antaranya berhasil.
