Kingston Rowing Club (KRC) is a rowing club in England founded in 1858 and a member club of British Rowing.
The club is located on the River Thames at Kingston upon Thames, downstream and north-east of Kingston Bridge and Kingston Railway Bridge. On a long wide stretch, its rowers and scullers have the final and the second longest section of the weir-controlled river. Kingston have produced a significant list of international level oarsmen and oarswomen throughout its history and has won events at the British Rowing Championships and Henley Royal Regatta through the years.
Kingston Rowing Club is the supporting club for Kingston Regatta which is held above Kingston Bridge. Kingston organises Kingston Head of the River Race which is a warm-up for the national Head of the River Race on the Championship Course on the following weekend.

Located on Kingston's inner harbour, Kingston Rowing Club (KRC) is proud to offer rowing programs for all fitness and experience levels ranging from Learn to Row to High Performance. Many of our past and present athletes are alumni, members of, or candidates for, the Canadian National Rowing Team.
A weekly membership is available for visiting rowers who have previous rowing experience. The weekly rate does not include boat transportation to and from regattas. This membership has a limit (4) to the number of times it can be used in a season
The Learn to Row programs teach participants the fundamentals of rowing and water safety. Each session includes four (4) 120-minute coaches lessons on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings. Each season members of the KRC are required to complete three volunteers for the club. After completion, please submit your hours by completing this form for coach verification. If you need direction on how hours can be completed, please contact a KRC coach or staff member.
The Kingston Rowing Club strives to promote and develop rowing at all levels in Kingston and the surrounding area. We focus excellence in recreation, competition and coaching, as well as fostering community involvement in the sport.
Rowing in Kingston: A Short History 1832 to 1981. The first recorded history of interest in rowing in Kingston was reported in the Chronicle and Gazette in 1832 when a letter to the editor from "Nautilus" was published exhorting Kingstonians to organize "the Annual Kingston Regatta".
To be active members at the Kingston Rowing Club, all rowers must: Register with Rowing Canada and join our KRC program for the current year Pay the Rowing Canada/RowOntario fee (RCA/ORA)
