    Trouble Chocolate (トラブルチョコレートcode: ja is deprecated , Toraburu Chokorēto) adalah anime komedi romantis yang diproduksi oleh Anime International Company (AIC) pada tahun 1999, dan dilisensikan di Amerika Serikat oleh Viz Media. Di Indonesia, program ini sempat tayang di TV 7 (kini Trans 7) dan Spacetoon.


    Plot


    Latar belakang anime ini adalah kota fiktif Sakai, berada di sebuah dunia antah berantah. Tokoh utama anime ini adalah Cacao, seorang murid Akademi Micro-Grand, sebuah sekolah di mana teknologi dan sihir dapat berbaur. Pada suatu hari, Cacao mendapat bimbingan khusus dari gurunya (Ghana) tentang cara melakukan ritual untuk memunculkan roh. Saat menyaksikan ritual yang didemonstrasikan gurunya, Cacao menemukan sebatang cokelat yang tergeletak di meja gurunya, lalu ia pun memakan cokelat tersebut karena lapar. Tanpa diketahui olehya, cokelat itu merupakan cokelat sihir yang sudah kedaluwarsa selama lebih dari 200 tahun. Setelah memakan cokelat tersebut, ia menjadi mabuk dan menyebabkan ritual yang dilakukan gurunya menjadi kacau. Akibatnya, ruang ritual meledak. Ghana pingsan sementara Cacao terhempas keluar. Sementara itu, roh yang bernama Hinano berhasil masuk ke dunia manusia. Roh itu merasuki sebuah boneka (marionette), lalu mencari Cacao. Cacao yang sedang mabuk pun mengajak Hinano ke rumahnya, lalu mereka tidur bersama. Akhirnya, kehidupan Cacao berubah semenjak bertemu Hinano.
