    • World War z adalah novel fiksi bergenre horor dan Fiksi pasca apokaliptik. Novel tersebut ditulis oleh penulis Amerika yaitu Max Brooks, yang diterbitkan pada tanggal 12 September tahun 2006. Novel World War Z merupakan kelanjutan dari novel sebelumnya yang berjudul The Zombie Survival Guide yang telah diterbitkan pada tahun 2003. Selain itu, kisah World War Z terinspirasi oleh The Good War: sebuah sejarah lisan Perang Dunia II (1984) yang disusun oleh Studs Terkel.
    World War Z berisi cerita mengenai infeksi misterius yang telah melanda dunia, infeksi tersebut dapat mengubah manusia menjadi zombie. Salah satu karakter dalam novel ini yang merupakan mantan penyelidik PBB berusaha untuk menemukan sumber infeksi tersebut. Selain itu, novel World War Z juga mengisahkan perang yang terjadi antara manusia melawan zombie serta bagaimana keadaan dunia setelah perang yang terjadi. Novel World War Z menerima ulasan positif dan dipuji oleh sebagian besar kritikus.

    World War Z diadaptasi menjadi sebuah game third-person shooter yang bisa dimainkan single player maupun multi player, yang dirilis pada tanggal 16 April 2019 untuk Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, dan Xbox One. Game tersebut dikembangkan oleh perusahan Saber Interactive dan diterbitkan oleh Mad Dog Games.
