The 2021 Texas Rangers season was the 61st of the Texas Rangers franchise overall, their 50th in Arlington as the Rangers, and the second season at Globe Life Field. The Rangers would finish with a 60–102 record which was the third worst record just behind the Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks, also a franchise worst since 1973 and their first season since then with 100 or more losses. Outfielder Joey Gallo and starting pitcher Kyle Gibson were also traded at the trade deadline to the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies respectively.
