Adraba (Hebrew: אדרבא; stylized as ADRABA) is a private Jewish online school based in Ontario, Canada. The school's courses are approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education as credits toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Established in 2019 by Frank Samuels, Sholom Eisenstat, and Dr. Dan Aviv, it has students across Ontario in Toronto, London, Hamilton, and Ottawa. ADRABA operates under the Ontario Ministry of Education with BSID #885298.
History
ADRABA is the first Jewish high school in Canada to use a blended learning model that combines face-to-face learning with technology. Officially launched in 2019, ADRABA courses give students credits towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
Curriculum and academic model
ADRABA's curriculum meets the OSSD requirements and maintains Ontario Student Records for students pursuing their OSSD in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Education standards. Classes are conducted in groups via Zoom, with self-paced curated assignments.
