Alara Şehitler (born 27 November 2006) is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club Bayern Munich.
Club career
A native of Ravensburg, Germany, as a youth player Şehitler joined the youth academy of FV Ravensburg, where she played for the boys' team. In 2023, she started her senior career with the reserve team of Bayern Munich, before playing for the first team shortly thereafter.
International career
Şehitler helped the Germany women's national under-17 football team win the 2022 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship. On 29 November 2024, she debuted for the Germany women's national football team during a 6-0 away friendly win over the Switzerland women's national football team.
Style of play
Şehitler plays as a midfielder, specifically as an attacking midfielder. A left-footed player, she is known for her speed and dribbling ability.
