All that Glisters is a 1951 Australian radio play by Edmund Barclay. The original production starred Marcia Hathaway and Edwin Finn.
The play was a romance about Bathurst during the Gold Rush days. It was produced the celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Bathurst Gold Rush. The ABC specifically commissioned to Barclay to write the play for this occasion; commissioning plays was very rare at the time.

Premise
According to one account: "It takes place in an hotel owned by the middle-aged mellow Mrs. Carstairs, who has attractive daughter, Betty. Two young men are interested in Betty. One, to whom Betty is attracted, is Johnny Martin who has a good landholding. The other is Harry Oldroyd, who is a first-class saddle-maker. When the rush comes Johnny proposes to Betty then goes off to find a fortune. If he is to marry Betty, he says, he must have the money that will keep her in the finery she deserves. Harrys tays behiund... It is a shrewd story told through the lips of the hotel rouseabout, Old Jemmy, a cockney."
