    • Allan Kato, commonly known as "1Big Allan" is a Ugandan social entrepreneur and activist. He founded the nonprofit organisation Allan Children's Foundation in 2019. Through the foundation he provides aid to the less privileged children in Uganda.


      Early life and education background


      He grew up in the slums of Kikoni, a Kampala surbub. He attended Makerere Primary School and Kasubi Family Primary School for Primary level and later joined New Styles S.S for high school.


      Career


      Iniatially, Kato was a digital content creator however after dropping from school he started an NGO under the name of Allan Children's Foundation in 2019, a foundation that takes care of about more than 500 children from the slums of Kampala. In 2024, he set up a vocational skilling centre in Wakiso that teaches youths vocational skills.
