Bu saheba Amatullah Aai (15 Zilhajjtil-Haram 1338 H and died on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1415 H in London). She was the wife of the 52nd Dai Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin and also the mother of the current Dai (53rd) Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin. She was also the daughter of Abdul Husain, a descendant of the 46th Da'i al-Mutlaq Abdul Qadir Najmuddin.
She inspired a revised version of "Sahifatus-Salat", one of the most important books of the Dawoodi Bohra community, which contains information and instructions about all the important religious aspects of the community. Her eldest son Qaid Johar complied with her wishes and had the Sahifah revised with the help of scholars in the Jamea-tus-Saifiyah Daras in Surat. The new version was dedicated to Amatullah Aai Saheba and was renamed "Sahifatul-Gharrah" in her honour, meaning "the book of the Lady". This new version was published by Jamea-tus-Saifiyah in October 1999. This comprehensive sahifa is divided into four parts and covers all aspects of a mumin's life:
Detailing 7 da’aim (pillars) of islaam;
An individuals journey from birth to grave, all rituals procedures
Religious activities details during the individual Hijri months of a year.
And other miscellaneous procedures of special salats like 'tasbih ul azam'.
