      • Brandon Wilson is an American actor. His roles include The Way Back and Nickel Boys. The latter earned him a Gotham Award in 2024.


      Career


      Wilson has starred in various short and feature films. In 2020, Wilson played the character of Brandon Durrett in The Way Back directed by Gavin O'Connor. In 2022, Wilson acted in Mark Polish' horror film Murmur. He has also appeared in the television series, Ray Donovan.
      In 2024, Wilson starred in The Nickel Boys, an adaptation of the Colson Whitehead novel by the same name. In it, he played the lead role of Turner, alongside lead Ethan Herisse. The film premiered at Telluride Film Festival and showed at the New York Film Festival; Wilson was submitted for consideration for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. For his performance, he won a Breakthrough Performer award at the Gotham Awards.
