Calyx infundibulum adalah spesies spons yang tergolong dalam kelas Demospongiae. Spesies ini juga merupakan bagian dari genus Calyx dan famili Phloeodictyidae. Nama ilmiah spesies ini pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 1993 oleh Pulitzer-Finali.
Seperti spons pada umumnya, spesies ini memiliki tubuh yang berpori dan permukaan yang keras seperti batu. Selain itu, Calyx infundibulum juga dapat menyerap oksigen dari air melalui proses difusi.
