Cantenac (French pronunciation: [kɑ̃tnak]) is a former commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. On 1 January 2017, it was merged into the new commune Margaux-Cantenac. It is located near Bordeaux.

Situated on the Left bank of the Gironde in the region Haut-Médoc, the area is home to many wineries, however following a law of 1954, Cantenac wines fall under the Margaux AOC, as there is no appreciable difference between the two communes.
