Carl Spitzweg (5 Februari 1808 – 23 September 1885) adalah seorang pelukis dan penyair romantik Jerman. Ia dianggap sebagai salah satu seniman paling berpengaruh pada zaman Biedermeier.
Ia lahir di Unterpfaffenhofen, sebagai anak kedua dari tiga bersaudara dari pasangan Franziska (née Schmutzer) dan Simon Spitzweg.

Spitzweg dimakamkan di Alter Südfriedhof, Munich.
