There are four species recognized in the genus:

Cinachyra antarctica (Carter, 1872)
Cinachyra barbata Sollas, 1886
Cinachyrella crassispicula (Lendenfeld, 1907)
Cinachyra helena Rodriguez & Muricy, 2007
