Clos Marey-Monge is the official vineyard of Château de Pommard, both located in the village of Pommard.
The historic vineyard is walled-up, as referenced by "Clos" (French for 'enclosure') in its name. The name also references the wines coming from the vineyard.
Clos Marey-Monge has a terroir of a total size of 20ha (0.2km^2), split into seven separately planted zones of varied soil types:
