Darrius Clemons (born April 9, 2003) is an American football wide receiver for the Oregon State Beavers. He previously played for the Michigan Wolverines. Clemons helped Michigan win a national championship in 2023.
Early years
Clemons was born in 2003 in Bemidji, Minnesota. His father Larry Clemons played college football as a wide receiver for the Florida Gators. Darrius began playing high school football at [[Westview High School from 2018 to 2020. He caught 38 passes for 817 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior in 2020. As a senior in 2021, he transferred to Westview High School in Portland, Oregon, played at both wide receiver and defensive back, and tallied over 800 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns. He was rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 player from Oregon in the 2022 college football recruiting class. He ran a 4.37 laser-timed 40-yard dash in 2020.
College career

=After narrowing his finalists to Auburn, Oregon, Miami, Michigan, and Penn State, Clemons committed to Michigan in December 2021. Clemons said at the time he chose Michigan based on academics.
As a freshman in 2022, Clemons appeared in 11 games, including nine games as a backup at wide receiver. He tallied only one reception for seven yards as a freshman.
As a sophomore in 2023, he appeared in 11 games and would play as a wide receiver in nine games, including the 2024 CFP National Championship. He would finish the season with making three catches for 33 yards.
On January 10, 2024, Clemons announced that he would enter the transfer portal.
