Elena Ivanovna Pridankina (Russian: Елена Ивановна Приданкина, born 30 August 2005) is a Russian tennis player.
Pridankina has career-high rankings by the WTA of world No. 179 in singles and No. 138 in doubles, achieved in October 2024.
Personal life
Elena's father Ivan Pridankin is a former coach of Daniil Medvedev.
Career
In November 2023, Pridankina won her biggest ITF title thus far at a W40 tournament in Funchal, Portugal, partnering with Anastasia Kovaleva. The following week, she also won the W25 doubles tournament in Lousada, Portugal.
Ranked No. 179, Pridankina made her WTA Tour debut at the 2024 Guangzhou Open after entering the main draw as a lucky loser but lost to Caroline Dolehide.
She secured her first WTA Tour win at the 2024 Jiangxi Open, defeating Ella Seidel, before losing in the second round to fifth seed Kamilla Rakhimova.
