Elijah Dotson is an American football safety for the Belleville Tigers, who is currently committed to play college football for the Michigan Wolverines.
Early life and high school
Dotson attended high school at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy for his first three years of high school, before transferring to Belleville High School located in Belleville, Michigan for his senior season. Coming out of high school, Dotson was rated as a four-star recruit, the 2nd best player in the state of Michigan, and the 200th player overall. Dotson also held offers from schools such as Auburn, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Ultimately, Dotson decided to commit to play college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers. However on November 20, 2024, Dotson flipped his commitment from the Panthers to play for the Michigan Wolverines.
