Gadharona Balaji Temple is a temple in Gadharona village near Landhaura town of district Haridwar Uttarakhand, in which the idol of Lord Hanuman is installed. The temple is from ancient times.
History
Gadharona Balaji Temple has the status of Siddha Peeth. This temple was built by Raja Ram Dayal Singh Gujjar of Landhaura State. According to beliefs, Ram Dayal Gurjar had sent some people from Mehandipur Balaji Temple of Rajasthan to bring 4 bricks and Akhand Jyot so that they could build the temple. Later, the temple was constructed in new pillars with time. It is believed that negative power vanishes on seeing it.
Samadhi wale Baba has breathed life into the idols of Balaji by worship in the temple. He is the same Baba who had breathed life into the Mehandipur Balaji temple. The place of Samadhi Baba is also worshipped in the temple. On the upper side of the temple is Pret Raj Ji Darbar where people get relief from ghosts and spirits by worshipping the darbar.
