Hans Staden (lahir sekitar tahun 1525 – meninggal sekitar tahun 1576) adalah seorang prajurit dan penjelajah Jerman yang berlayar ke Amerika Selatan pada pertengahan abad ke-16, di mana ia ditangkap oleh orang Tupinamba dari Brasil. Dia berhasil selamat dan kembali ke Eropa. Dalam bukunya yang banyak dibaca True History: An Account of Cannibal Captivity in Brazil, ia mengklaim bahwa penduduk asli yang menahannya mempraktikkan kanibalisme.
