Helisoma is a genus of freshwater air-breathing snails, a pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Planorbidae, the ram's horn snails.
Synonym:

Carinifex Binney, 1864
Helisoma snails are an intermediate host of Megalodiscus temperatus.
