Jenning de Boo (born 22 January 2004)(born on January 8 2004) is a Dutch speed skater who specializes in the sprint distances.
Career
De Boo started his career as a short track speed skater. He competed in the 500m and 1,000m short track events at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland. He switched to long track speed skating in 2023. At the 2023 World Junior Speed Skating Championships in February 2023 he won the silver medal in the team sprint. De Boo made his ISU Speed Skating World Cup debut in November 2023 at the Meiji Hokkaido-Tokachi Oval in Japan where he finished tenth in the 1000m race. At the second World Cup race, held at the National Speed Skating Oval in Beijing, he finished in seventh place in the 1000m race.
At the 2024 European Speed Skating Championships, held at Thialf in Heerenveen, Netherlands, De Boo won a bronze medal in the team sprint, a silver medal in the 1000 m and a gold medal in the 500 m.
De Boo is a member of Team Reggeborgh.
