Joe Hogan is an American politician. A Republican, he is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives representing the 142nd legislative district since 2023.
Political career
Before running for office, Joe wrote and managed grants as program director for The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Bucks (RDA). Working at the RDA provided insight into the needs of small businesses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. He worked with regional partners, secured and distributed more than $1 million in grants and loans to keep local businesses operational. Joe was also responsible for the administration of millions of dollars in emergency services grants to keep our communities safe and first responders prepared. Hogan ran for the 142nd PA House seat in 2023 to replace Frank Farry, who was running for the Pennsylvania State Senate. Hogan won election by 76 votes, after a voting machine was found untabluated in Lower Southampton. The votes in that machine gave Hogan his victory after opponent Mark Moffa was up by two votes after election day.
