    • Kalsian, also spelled Kalsiyan or Kalsyan, is a clan of the Gujjar ethnic community based in India and Pakistan.


      Ethnography


      They're found in Punjab, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces of Pakistan. In India, they are mainly located in multiple Indian states, including Gujarat, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh (Kairana), Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.


      Origin


      Kalsian Gujjars are descendants of the Chauhans and thus they claim to be of the Hindu lineage.
