  • Laidley Hall was a former Marshall University residence hall, located next to the Cam Henderson Center in Huntington, West Virginia.


    History


    Laidley Hall, named after the founder of Marshall University John Laidley, was the first dormitory on campus, opening in 1937. The building was built as a three-story coed dormitory, which was also later used as classrooms and a tutoring center.
