  • Leucostethus siapida is a species of frog in the family Dendrobatidae. It is endemic to Gorgona Island, in Colombia.
Scientists saw the frog on Gorgona Island, an island in the Pacific Ocean, 35 km southwest of mainland Colombia.
This frog has a light-colored belly and orange pigmentation in the groin and axilla areas. It has white spots on the thighs.
Scientists note that while the frog resembles L. argyrogaster and L. fugax, it is more closely related to L. bilsa, from Ecuador.
The scientists who wrote the first formal description of the frog note that it is vulnerable to extinction per IUCN Red List criteria.
