Like its predecessor, spider" target="_blank">Spider-Man: Into the spider" target="_blank">Spider-Verse was released to widespread critical acclaim, with particular praise directed towards its animation, visual styles and effects, as well as Daniel Pemberton's score and the voice ensemble. At the 96th Academy Awards, it was nominated for Best Animated Feature, while at the 77th British Academy Film Awards, it earned nominations for Best Animated Film and Best Original Music. The film received three nominations at the 29th Critics' Choice Awards, winning Best Animated Feature, and a further three nominations at the 81st Golden Globe Awards. Like its predecessor, the film garnered seven nominations at the 51st Annie Awards, including Best Animated Feature and Outstanding Achievement for Directing in an Animated Feature Production, and won in all of its categories. It also won Best Animated Film at the 95th National Board of Review Awards. In addition, the American Film Institute named Across the spider" target="_blank">Spider-Verse one of the Top 10 Films of the Year.
