The name Tilda has been used to name four tropical cyclones in the Western Pacific Ocean.
Typhoon Tilda (1954) (T5422, 19W) – a Category 4 typhoon that struck the Philippines.
Typhoon Tilda (1959) (T5903, 03W) – a Category 4-equivalent typhoon that had no significant effects on land.
Typhoon Tilda (1961) (T6123, 30W) – a Category 5 typhoon that made landfall in China.
Typhoon Tilda (1964) (T6419, 28W, Basiang) – rainfall from this Category 3 typhoon caused some of the deepest and longest lasting flooding in the Mekong River basin.
After the 1964 Pacific typhoon season, the name Tilda was retired. It was replaced by the name Therese.
