Luzay or Laka was an ancient king of Aksum who is named on some Ethiopian regnal lists.
Regnal lists
This king appears on a regnal list quoted by Carlo Conti Rossini under the name "Laka" and was the 23rd monarch to reign following Menelik I.
The official 1922 regnal list claims this king reigned for 12 years, from 20 B.C. to 8 B.C., with dates following the Ethiopian calendar. Two variations of this regnal list, written by Heruy Wolde Selassie and Aleka Taye respectively, both state this king reigned for 2 years, from 10 B.C. to 8 B.C.
Ethiopian historian Fisseha Yaze Kassa stated this king reigned for 8 years.
