Maivan (Persian: مايوان) is a village in, and the capital of, Shah Jahan Rural District of the Central District of Faruj County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

=At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,629 in 750 households. The following census in 2011 counted 3,326 people in 981 households. The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 3,604 people in 1,130 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.
