History
Manipouri State School opened circa 1923. Around 1930, the spelling was changed to Manapouri State School. It closed circa 1952. The school was on a 2-acre (0.81 ha) site at 401 Carey Road (27.84724°S 152.00308°E / -27.84724; 152.00308 (Manapouri State School (former))).
