Meshkin Dasht (Persian: مشکیندشت) is a city in, and the capital of, Meshkin Dasht District of Fardis County, Alborz province, Iran.
Demographics
= Population
=At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 43,696 in 11,171 households, when it was in the Central District of Karaj County, Tehran province. The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 62,005 in 18,644 households, by which time the county had been separated from the province in the establishment of Alborz province. In 2013, city and other parts were separated from the county in the establishment of Fardis County, and Meshkin Dasht was transferred to the new Meshkin Dasht District.
