Nepenthes ultra adalah spesies kantong semar yang berasal dari pulau Luzon Filipina, di mana ia tumbuh di ketinggian rendah pada tanah ultramafik (dijadikan nama).
Nepenthes ultra termasuk ke dalam "kelompok N. alata", yang meliputi N. alata, N. ceciliae, N. copelandii, N. graciliflora, N. mindanaoensis, N. negros, N. ramos, dan N. saranganiensis. Spesies ini disatukan oleh sejumlah karakter morfologi, yaitu tangkai bersayap dan rabung pangkal pada permukaan bawah tutup kantong.
