  • Nikolay Vasilyevich Pushkov (Russian: Никола́й Васи́льевич Пушко́в; 17 May 1903 – 28 January 1981) was a Soviet geophysicist and founder of IZMIRAN.
    He defended candidate's (Ph.D.) dissertation "Theory of Space Magnetism" in 1935 in Leningrad. [1]
