OLBG is a sports betting community platform based in the United Kingdom.
History
Established in 2002, The Online Betting Guide began as a guide to the best betting sites and latest offers with information to help sports bettors place bets online. Between 2003 and 2004, a tipster competition and forum was added to the site and it grew to become the world’s biggest community of sports bettors who share their knowledge to help others improve their betting. Further down the line, Online Betting Guide became more popularly known as OLBG, and now provides guides and information covering casino and slots as well as sports betting.
OLBG featured in the Road to Cheltenham series where it sponsored the OLBG Mares' Hurdle from 2012 to 2019, covered live on ITV.
In 2012, the OLBG Sports Betting Tips app was released to help users have easy access to the platform.
OLBG proudly began sponsoring Matthew Edgar in 2011 and have since sponsored the darts professional intermittently for over 13 years. In 2024, they'll be supporting his journey to qualify for Lakeside 2024 at the WDF World Championships.
Since 2023 OLBG have been sponsoring jockey Harry Reed and in January 2024 began sponsoring jockey Paul O’Brien.
On January 1, 2024, OLBG joined Newbury Racecourse as the new partner of the Owners Club, which is now named The OLBG Owners' Club. Alongside this, on Saturday 20 April 2024, OLBG was the race sponsor of the £70,000 Spring Cup.
In January 2024 OLBG began sponsoring Harry Derham Racing and have since begun the OLBG Racing Club, where they support the Harry Derham Racing team on their respective journeys.
On the 5th June 2024, OLBG joined Lions Gibraltar FC as their lead partner and front-of-shirt sponsor on a multi-year deal.
