Orbix is a CORBA ORB (Object Request Broker) software package. Originally published by IONA Technologies, then Progress Software, it was acquired by Micro Focus in 2012. As of 2024, the software was being marketed by Rocket Software. Orbix is intended to help programmers build distributed applications. It is an implementation of the OMG's (Object Management Group) CORBA specification.
