The Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (PLC SUPVA) is a public university in Rohtak, India. It was established in 2011 by the department of Technical Education. The university is a joint campus of four institutions: State Institute of Film and Television, State Institute of Design, State Institute of Fine Arts and State Institute of Urban Planning and Architecture.
History
The PLC SUPVA campus is spread over 36 acres of land, designed by architect Raj Rewal. It is centrally located in the state of Haryana, at a distance of about 75 kms from New Delhi. Central facilities like the auditorium, seminar halls, central library, etc. are available for academics and extra-curricular activities. A girls’ hostel with a capacity of 175 students is already available in the campus. Housing facility for both faculty and non-teaching staff is also available.
