Paralomis is a genus of king crabs. They are found in the cold waters of a depth range of 950 m (3,120 ft) to 1,000 m (3,300 ft). with the deepest depth range is 7,783 m (25,535 ft).

Appearance
some species have longer legs than other species. Paralomis have a round carapace with very small prominent spines showing in the dorsal carapace. it has pereiopods of up to 24cm to 82cm. they could reach a carapace length of 85mm to 90mm.
Etymology
The name given to Paralomis is named after it's closet relative Lomis, while the Para takes itself much similar to some species.
